Superyacht design studio Nuvolari & Lenard and NCP Repair Shipyard has begun a major project of converting a 60 meter tugboat into a luxury superyacht expedition yacht called Sea Warrior. Nuvolari & Lenard are the designers of the luxury yacht conversion and NCP are doing the yacht conversion.
The original boat will be completely stripped and only the hull will be used. Boats of this generation and class were exceptionaly well built and the hull has exceptional firmness and quality.
The design is characterized by a classic, timeless high quality but also by the aggressive appearance of the tugboat.
On the explorer yacht’s main deck to aft the expedition yacht will have a spacious fitness room, which has direct access to the 120 square metre spa centre on the lower deck. Forward of the fitness are the guest staterooms, which are all on the main and upper deck, the galley and the crew quarters.
On the upper deck we find the main saloon, two more guest staterooms and the large owner’s suite. The top deck is designed for the wheelhouse, the captain’s rooms and another living area with a dining room.
The fitness room on the explorer yacht’s main deck is planned as a glazed hall, with an open view over the sides and aft deck, which offers ample space for sunbathing. From the yacht’s aft deck, wide stairs reach to the spacious aft platform. This offers guests a relaxation area just above sea level.
Two high speed 11 meter tenders will be on the yacht’s upper aft deck and the expedition boat also will accommodate a complete diving station with diving equipment, four jet-ski’s and six small fun sailing boats.
