Benetti Yachts signs four contracts at the Monaco Yacht Show
The first day of the Monaco Boat Show has been enough for Benetti to sign four contracts: a 65m, a 62m, a 60m and a 45m. The shipyard celebrates it’s monegasque succes from it’s headquarter, the bright new two floors stand, which dominates Quai des Etats Units.
Among the three yachts the 65m Amnesia will be the fourth mega yacht built for the same client by the shipyard.
Whilst the owner’s current yacht will be launched in March 2008, works have already started on the newAmnesia which is in schedule to be delivered in 2010. Continuing their succesfull relationship with Benetti, Redman Whitley Dixon have this time designed both the interior and the exterior, which moves away from the Benetti traditional profiles and style. This further demonstrates Benetti’s progressive attitude in developing new and exciting projects, meeting the requests of its owners.
Because of the owner’s deep knowledge of yachts and the industry, Amnesia 65m will go a step further in innovation and progress, continuing to push design and technology to create an outstanding yacht.
Working closely with Benetti naval architects, her contemporary hull and suprestructure are highly developed by using technology normally employed by the automotive industry. This makes Amnesia truly individual in the yachting industry.
The major part of the design philosophy was to create an extremely flexible and versatile interior to satisfy the increasing demands of charter. The main concept was to create an uncompromising environment to exceed the most refined hotels and use a exquisite selection of interior finishes.
